INT. KITE FLIERS MEETING FANØ

The Maritime Church in Sønderho was built in 1782 and got it's present look in 1865. The Maritime Church is the church with the most ship models in all of Denmark. 15 models all together can be seen inside the church.
After visiting the church, you should have a look at the cemetery and the memorial place. The memorial place is a reminder of the shipping catastrophe in 1825. 40 sailors wives were widowed and about a hundred children lost their fathers.
